Platinum Fountain Pen "Decade"

Released in 2022, this special limited edition model commemorates the 10th anniversary of the "#3776 Century."

44 Years Since the First "#3776" Release

In 1978, under the guidance of the late Haruo Umeda, a writer and fountain pen collector, the ideal pen "#3776" was developed and released. The number signifies the height of Mount Fuji, symbolizing Japan's aspiration for the pinnacle of fountain pens.

Thirty-three years later, in 2011, the "#3776 Century" was launched, featuring the innovative Slip & Seal mechanism that prevents ink from drying. It became a flagship model for Platinum Pen. In 2022, marking the 10th anniversary of the "#3776 Century," the special limited model "#3776 Century 'Decade'" was introduced as a new beginning.

An Homage to Accumulated History

This limited model incorporates the hallmark gathered motif of the "#3776" into the current "#3776 Century" body, symbolizing innovation from past to present. The pen retains the classic "best" shape with a nearly flat top, delivering a style that's both nostalgic and elegant. The top is adorned with a 10th-anniversary logo, and the end cap features an engraved serial number.

10th-Anniversary Special Ink "Fuji Kon":

This ink captures the image of the dark navy sky of Mt. Fuji transitioning to a reddish dawn. Enjoy the special ink that produces a reddish reflection depending on the angle of light.

Based on the Platinum Fountain Pen #3776 Century, this design features an original ink inspired by clematis. The entire surface is sandblasted, offering a non-slip and pleasant texture.

It is equipped with Platinum's unique nib structure that prevents drying out, utilizing the SLIP SEAL mechanism.

The barrel color mimics the purple flowers of the clematis, and the nib is engraved with a design representing this theme.

In the eastern part of Shizuoka City, there is "Clematis Hill," famous for the cultivation of clematis and other flowers.
