The raden technique involves polishing the pearly parts of ear shells or abalone with a whetstone to a uniform thickness and embedding or attaching them onto a lacquer surface. This decorative method utilizes the beautiful glow of the shell when light hits it.

This series of raden fountain pens is crafted with traditional techniques. In this edition, Australian abalone is used to beautifully express the checkered Ichimatsu pattern.

This charming fountain pen features a new marble-patterned barrel.

"Rencontre" means "encounter" in French. Two materials blend to create a unique and one-of-a-kind pattern.
