In collaboration with the Satellite Crayon Project, this limited-edition fountain pen draws inspiration from the colors of Earth captured from space.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Hiroshima Prefecture, the operator of "Gship," supporting the protection of the Seto Inland Sea environment.
[Eleuthera Island]
Color inspired by the waters of the western coast of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, extracted from coordinates: 24.98503, -76.36213. The body color replicates the sea, and the cap and end finial feature a custom color representing the "wade" (coral stones) found in the region’s waters. The Bahamas consists of approximately 700 islands and 2,400 large rocks, mainly coral reefs. Near the shallow reefs, there is a rapidly deepening area called the "Sea Tongue," which creates unique water currents and vivid patterns with white sand containing abundant wade.
[Syvash (Marshland)]
Color inspired by the shallow mudflats of the Azov Sea at coordinates 46.13594, 33.91955, near the western coast of the Azov Sea. The cap and end finial feature a pink salt, produced mainly in Crimea, which is dramatically higher in salinity—the salt concentration reaches about 35%, ten times that of typical seawater (3.5%) and much saltier than soy sauce (16%). This extreme salinity promotes algae growth and β-carotene production, giving the distinctive color of this environment.
