Profile
Maki has been handling a brush since the age of 5. After graduating from university, she joined Plan Do See Co., Ltd., where she worked on bridal projects and also contributed to store logos and designs, leading her to discover calligraphy. She became independent after marriage and childbirth, expressing a unique interpretation of the fusion between Japanese and Western calligraphy, elevating it to art. Her work has reached international audiences. Maki has been involved in event calligraphy for luxury brands, collaborative product sales, and supervising educational materials. Her book, "Modern Calligraphy" (BNN), is one of her notable works.
